For the past several years, we have installed fiber throughout the Atlanta market for various customers. One of our recent projects was supporting Atlantic Fiber Networks in their deployment of a WAN system for the Clayton County School System. We provided construction services installing multiple 1.25" conduits over an approximate 80 mile network path. The path included all types of installation methods including directional drilling, solid rock boring, open trench, as well as stitch boring. This project also included various construction challenges such as multiple railroad crossings, an Interstate crossing, and working in close proximity to critical utilities safely and responsibly with little or no interruptions. We also supported AFN through fiber installation. The 9 month project was completed successfully and activated with no issues.
